CUNY SPS is Military Friendly!

For the third year in a row, we’re rated high on the list of schools that support military and veteran students.

Big news at CUNY SPS! For the third year in a row, we have been named by the website MilitaryFriendly.com on their list of top Military Friendly schools. And for 2023–2024, they’ve given us a Silver Award!

What makes a school Military Friendly? According to the organization’s website:

Military Friendly® is the standard that measures an organization’s commitment, effort and success in creating sustainable and meaningful benefit for the military community.

Under this standard, MilitaryFriendly.com ranks schools around the country annually based on student retention, graduation, job placement, loan repayment, persistence (degree advancement or transfer), and loan default rates. It’s a testament to CUNY SPS’ devotion to our veteran and military students that we have — and continue to be — ranked one of the highest on the MilitaryFriendly.com list!

I personally attribute our award to all the amazing services our School offers, which includes our U.S. Military Bachelor’s Degree Completion Scholarship, as well as the support and care of our Office of Military and Veteran Student Services.
